In Early February, I was in Denver for a conference so I stayed a couple extra days to visit my cousin Dave and his wife Lori. In this picture, we were in Chautauqua Park, in Boulder, in the shadow of the Rockies. We hiked a little ways out into the snow. It was beautiful.
Then we walked the Pearl Street Mall, and went back to their house to watch Superbowl commercials.
It was a great visit, and I'm pretty sure Colorado is at the top of my list of places to live if I ever decide to leave California for someplace more affordable.
On Sunday, I visited the Museum of Nature and Science before my evening flight home. Overall it was a great mini-vacation
