Camp Pendleton Mud Run

Saturday morning Sharon Szolomayer and I did the Camp Pendleton Mud Run. It's a 10K (6.2 miles) through the hills of the Marine base.

Along the way you go through obstacles that include getting sprayed by a fire hose, slodging through mud pits, jumping over 5 ft walls, swimming/wading across a lake, and then finally at the end you have to get your whole body down in the mud to crawl under some flags for the final mud pit.

It's was so much fun, (and so muddy.) Sharon and I finished in 1 hour and 45 minutes. (The winning time was about 45 minutes). We took our time, had fun, and took pictures with a waterproof camera. Click this picture to see more.

Thanks Celina for encouraging me to to do it!

Congrats to the both of you. I've heard of the mud-run down at Pendleton. Love the pictures. Thanks for sharing.
God bless,
